Tips & Trends
Even Bolder Colors
Colours this season are bigger and bolder from last season’s. Oranges, greens and mustards become the focus of a whole collection. No longer are they accents.
Designers are taking cue from their women’s wear collections and are adding colour blocking for men. This is the prominent style for 2012, being one of the most wearable of trends. Take brights like yellows, greens and reds and combine them with neutrals like tan and beige.
Classic colours for suits have always been the norm but for spring 2012, bring out the adventurous side of you in bolder colours of deep red, wine, burgundy and purple. Don’t restrict yourself to the black and navy suits you’re used to, Take a new route with the modern to add a bit of jazz to your wardrobe.
Watch out for BottegaVeneta for more direction.

Far Out Traveller
Designers tapped into the past, the 70’s to be accurate - for the next trend for 2012, and the translation of it is beyond phenomenal.
Balancing elegance with decadence was how the trend went, at Anna Sui it was embroidery. At Gucci were tassels and a combination of print and textures were evident at Kenzo, Diesel, Missoni and Kinder Aggugini.
Evening wear was ruled by silks and DVF and Etro were prime examples of the ethnic-luxe trend. Be inspired by the supers of the yester years, Christy, Tatjana and Linda on how to work the look, they did it best.
