Otara opened the Embark Love Shop located at its headquarters on Jawatte Road recently. A pop-up store selling gifts for Christmas. Products include a line of clothing and accessories for people; monochrome t-shirts with pooch-inspired taglines, upcycled notebooks, batik motif soft toys and shawls, Embark’s iconic flip-flops and wristbands, seasonal goodies and more. In keeping with the growing socially-conscious consumer, 100% profits will go towards improving the lives of Sri Lanka’s Street Dogs; rescues, treatment, vaccination, sterilization programs and adoption days.
The space is a one-of- a-kind concept that uses a converted garage with wooden pallets sourced from recycled material. Tropical foliage, festive red berries and flowers are found scattered in between product while sparkling lights lend a warm Christmas feeling. The perfect occasion to shop for a cause this season!
