Otara attended the inaugural gathering of the Amigo Humane Society of Ananda Balika Vidyalaya,Colombo. The Amigo Humane Society is an initiative by the school students to advocate kindness and compassion and help the animals of Sri lanka. Few schools have such societies and it is indeed a welcome change to see the young take on such causes. Otara graced the event and shared her thoughts whilst creating awareness about the importance of treating all life with respect – be it human or animal.
