All for the love of street dogs

Otara’s newest project for street pooches is a fund raiser to purchase a much needed vehicle for Embark activities. She’s putting on sale part of her personal collection of paintings by reputed Sri Lankan artists including Sanjeeva Kumara, Druvinka Madawala and Chamilia Gamage, which she has collected over the years. Venue: Barefoot Gallery Dates: 6th November: 7.30pm to 9.30pm 7th November: 10am to 7pm 8th November: 11am to 5pm As you probably know, Embark is focused on reducing cruelty to animals and promoting the rehabilitation and re-homing of pups and strays. Its activities extend to the caring of injured street animals and creating awareness among the public on issues related to animal welfare. Embark is funded principally by the sale of a popular and fast growing range of fun clothing, accessories and pet products under the name Embark. Uniting fashion and animal welfare, the embark collection consists of adults and kids clothing, headwear and slippers, jewellery and accessories and pet stuff. So mark next weekend in your diaries.
