Battaramulla became the latest town to bow down to fashion pressure when Otara opened the thirteenth of her stores, ODEL, on Friday the 16th of July 2010 at Koswatte Junction. The store was opened to the fashion sensible public in Battaramulla with the pomp, pageantry and glitz of live mannequins, in the unmistakably style that goes hand in hand with ODEL.
