Otara attended the annual general meeting of the Sarvodaya Suwasetha Sewa Society recently. Founded by Mr and Ms. Ariyaratne the society has transformed the lives of so many over the past 50 years including children, elders and the disabled. Otara also spent time viewing the beautiful handicrafts created by the talented women, in addition to spending time with both the women and children of the home who shared their heart-breaking stories of abandonment, abuse and poverty.
