Otara recently represented Sri Lanka at the LSG Shakthi Beyond Borders gathering in Kolkata, India. Among the distinguished panel included noteworthy female leaders from Pakistan, Nepal, Myanmar and
Bangladesh. It was an event which celebrated the diverse culture, art and cuisine of each country while reminiscing the age of “One People, One Land.”
Topics of discussion included factors that have facilitated women’s empowerment, challenges faced by women, insights into the progress of women in Asia and more.
