Otara recently visited the Kandana Water Treatment Plant for a tree planting program. In keeping with her 54th birthday celebrations and vision of a greener Sri Lanka, Otara planted 54 Kumbuk Trees that will help protect the river banks of the Kalu Ganga and purify the water in the years ahead as Kumbuk roots are naturally able to cleanse water.
