Otara was recently recognized as “Woman of the Year” by Women in Management (WIM) in partnership with IFC, a member of the World Bank Group. The Ceremony was the Top 50 Professional & Career Women Awards – 8th Edition, Sri Lanka & Maldives. The Awards highlighted and honored women in the national and regional economy; and celebrated their achievements, experience and creativity in leading institutions, professions and businesses in an effective and creative manner. It further acknowledged women who have seized opportunities and overcome challenges. The Awards Ceremony was graced by Hon. Karu Jayasuriya, Speaker of Parliament, Members of Parliament, Diplomats, Professionals in Business and Government Service.
