Joss Stone supports Embark

Joss Stone visited Sri Lanka to hold two performances, the proceeds of which were donated to Embark for the benefit of Sri Lanka’s street dogs. She also took the time to meet a dog rescued during the time she was here, who she named Missy Elliot after her own dog.

Saturday Morning at the Hospital

Otara visited the sick and injured at the hospital where Embark pooches are being treated. She also spent time with Duke and Lavinia who were rescued last month by her from the Mount Lavinia Beach and the other residents at the Hospital including Hopper, Widget, Seven and Loopy.

Our Country is Our Home – The Arugambay Beach Clean Up

Otara together with the community conducted a beach clean up in Arugambay. A live stream during the clean up, allowed more than 800,000 of her followers on Facebook access to the event where she highlighted the garbage issue we are facing and the effects of garbage induced marine pollution.
